Colin Campbell
Sangoma • Grew up in rural Botswana • Steeped in Tswana culture and spiritual practice • Full time practitioner of traditional African medicine in Cape Town, South Africa • Co-runs a training school and resource center in Botswana for traditional doctors and Sangomas • Teaches indigenous cosmology and African customary law.

Joshua Tree Retreat Center

Joshua Tree Retreat Center is a "jewel in the desert." It rests on 420 acres in the foothills of southern California’s Mojave Desert and is 32 miles northeast of Palm Springs, CA.
The Center offers a rare fusion of sweeping desert and mountain vistas. You can meditate at the labyrinth, outdoor fire circle, and medicine wheel or along the hiking trails leading to the open desert, which is said to contain 15 vortices. Well-known architect, Lloyd Wright, in collaboration with his father, Frank Lloyd Wright, designed some Center facilities. You may want to consider arriving a few days early or staying a few days after the Conference to take full advantage of what the area has to offer!
