Fissure, cut bait
Already.
Edan Kai, 3-almost-4, and Jason, his Buddy, get Edan his first fishing pole, April 2009 in Denver. Grandma Beth just thinks everything that little guy does is remarkable. That’s my job.

Ok, ok, if you want a little less tongue in cheek take on the prompt, fissure, here it is in image form. I love this image—not sure where it came from, so can’t appropriately accredit it. Seems appropriate to the season as well.
My apologies to any of the readers of OSI who are not from the USA and so may not get my pun on ‘fissure’. Basically, the phrase is, ‘fish or cut bait’ and is used when you are telling someone to get busy and do something and quit standing around or being indecisive.
Thanks to Sandra of If: La Palabra Diminuta for this week’s prompt, fissures. Head over to One Single Impression for some fishin’ and cuttin’ bait on this fine prompt.

That’s a good meaning – and an interesting pic.
That had me laughing. Thanks for that.
Superb! A gramma’s work is too much fun! And the final image is terrific, too!
Hi Beth, I love to fish so I though it cute. That is a cool image.
What a joy it must be! To be grandma to Eden Kai. Cool image. Reminds me a little of Georgia O’Keefe
but different landscape.
Hi Beth;
I thought only Moms are stage mothers, but I was mistaken coz grannies are more of it, as I could read in you!
You made me smile, I may someday soon be one! Lols!
Love it! Smiling……
Hmm, a new fissshin’ pole. You have my smiling this morning. Cute picture too!
