He’s currently writing his second book about mysticism. The interview gives a history on world mysticism and delves more deeply into some strains of it (Christian). Well worth the listen!

Recently I was interviewed by Max Arbes of Atlanta’s “Voice of the Arts” Radio Station, AM 1690, on the topic of mysticism. It’s not long (about 10 minutes) but over the course of the conversation we talk about what mysticism is, its relation to religion, distinctions between intellectual and emotional forms of mysticism, and the relationship between mysticism and writing.
