One of my favorite new sites is Carl McColman’s ‘The Website of Unknowing‘. The site is both theologically diverse and grounded, a refreshing change of pace. His blog entry for today is “The Rebate ‘Check’” Carl has some thoughtful things to say about the bigger picture of how these checks are deficient in vision as well as being deficit spending. He offers some practical ideas about how we might use the proposed money thoughtfully and with care. Very helpful information. Felt like a meditation, actually.

Hope you enjoy Carl’s site. He did a nice connection for the Virtual Tea House a couple weeks ago on his ‘Other People’s Blogs’ page on his site, called “The Butler, Tea and Single Malt”. Carl’s advice to me in an email was to write more–so I’m going to try to be posting more often.

Here’s a link to Carl’s prolific and beautiful books on Celtic mysticism and other earth based spirituality. Or paste this URL into your browser: http://anamchara.com/hob/faq/about/books/
